Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction September 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/19/2023
Making appearances for five different NHL clubs during his career, Shawn McEachern was a Stanley Cup champion with Pittsburgh in 1992, with the Massachusetts native also representing the US internationally on several occasions, including at the World Cup of Hockey and Winter Olympics. From his time in our nation's capital, we have an Ottawa Senators alternate captain's jersey worn by McEachern in 2000-01. A label with “56” sizing is affixed to the collar, with KOHO and NHL crests over the reverse neckline and bottom hem respectively. Styled with the alternate, multi-coloured and textured Senators team crest that witnessed use from 1997 until 2007, “15” appears over the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with matching crests situated over each shoulder. Nice use is shown with a few stick marks to the front along with additional marks and paint transfer to the left sleeve. There is also a team repair to the lower right sleeve.
