With roots going all the way back to 1926 and the Providence Reds and still existing today as the Hartford Wolf Pack, from 1990 to 1997 the club in Binghamton and serving as the New York Rangers primary AHL affiliate was also known as the Rangers and would win four (4) straight division titles between 1992 and 1996. Offered here, is this Rangers jersey worn for a single game during the team’s final season of play in Broome County donned by Vladimir Vorobiev. Made by Bauer, both Bauer Pro and size “54” tags are affixed to the inner collar while the Bauer logo is embroidered into the reverse hem alongside a sewn on AHL league patch. Decorated over the front with a Rangers team crest and an embroidered Bauer logo over the left collarbone, the sleeves and verso of the gradient design garment are accented with Vorobiev's number “11” in tri-layer stacked tackle twill numerals while “Vorobiev” is spelt out in single layer while twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Exhibiting game-wear via a stick mark over the front as well as few fabric snags/pulls throughout the piece; board burns are also observed over each sleeve while sweat staining is present around the collar. Additionally, Vorobiev has signed the right shoulder with a black ink signature that displays without issue.
