Both products of the London Knights in Ontario Hockey League that ended up playing for OHL Championships during their time there, both Dan Jancevski and Sergei Kostitsyn would find themselves suiting up for the NHL’s Montreal Canadiens AHL farm club the Hamilton Bulldogs at times in their professional careers. Offered here, we present this pair of Bulldogs jerseys worn by Dan Jancevski and Sergei Kostitsyn during the 2004-05 and 2008-09 season respectively. Starting with the Jancevski jersey, made by SP Apparel, both SP and size “56” labeling are affixed to the inner collar while the reverse neckline and hem are accented with differing AHL league crests with the latter of the two also joined by an embroidered SP logo. Decorated over the front with a Bulldogs team crest that features embroidered details, remains of an alternate captain’s “A” can be seen over the left breast while the shoulders have had Bulldogs alternate logo and Montreal Canadiens crests placed over them. Having had Jancevski’s number “4” sewn to the sleeves and verso in dual layer tackle twill numerals, “Jancevski” is spelt out in single layer blue twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Exhibiting good game-use, stick marks are present over the sleeves and body with the sleeves also exhibiting board burns and multiple unrepaired holes while the left one shows coloured paint transfers. Sporting a large amount of pilling on the interior, a Bulldogs COA will accompany.
For the Kostitsyn example, made by Reebok, the tie-neck style garment shows Reebok/AHL and size “54” labeling affixed to the inner collar. Featuring Reebok logo patches over the reverse neckline and hem as well as an AHL patch alongside it at the bottom, the front of the jersey is decorated with the same Bulldogs team crest as well as a Pepsi sponsorship patch over the right breast. With matching Canadiens logos over each shoulder, the sleeves and verso have been accented with Sergei’s number “74” in dual layer tackle twill numbers with “Kostitsyn” in single layer white letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Of note, some red colour bleed has occurred to the letters on the nameplate. Exhibiting just light game-use, a board burn is present at the right cuff while a light stick mark and spot of white paint transfer are observed over the left arm/elbow. Signed over the reverse number “4” with a blue marker ink signature that displays well despite some bleeding, the jersey comes accompanied by a Bulldogs COA.
