Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2024

Ottawa native Marc Methot proudly wore this Senators “Heritage” third jersey gamer during the 2015-16 season. Methot had 12 points in 69 games that season for the Sens and played a total of 624 NHL games with Ottawa, Columbus and Dallas. This beauty evokes the original Senators, one of hockey’s first dynasty teams at the outset of the 20th Century and through the first decade of the NHL’s existence, when they won the Stanley Cup four times. Ottawa Senators patches are sewn on both shoulders and a size 58+ flag tag hangs in the back of the neck. There are a few reddish-brown spot stains in the middle of the black, white and red triple twill “O” sewn on the front. Solid game wear here with extensive team repairs bunched on the left sleeve cuff, along with a cream-colored one-inch sewing fix above those on the sleeve stripe of the same color. More game wear shows in black marks to the right of the “3” on the back. Senators game-worn jersey registration patch is sewn on the fight strap, and there is pilling from the fight strap inside the rear tail. Comes with a Senators COA.
