John Erskine played 77 games with the Utah Grizzlies during his 2000-01 rookie season in the IHL. Erskine later played in the NHL with the Dallas Stars and New York Islanders and spent 8 seasons with the Washington Capitals. The size tag indicates a size "56" on the inner collar and a “Phillips 66” sponsorship patch is sewn to the right breast. Additionally, there are four patches on the back hem, including a “Smoking is butt ugly”, “Edge Pro Gel”, “SP” and “IHL” patch. A team patch that reads “2000-2001 Game Worn” is sewn to the inside hem. The jersey exhibits a lot of game wear, including more than a dozen game marks on each sleeve. The right sleeve exhibits an unrepaired cut and more than a half dozen board burns, while the lower left sleeve exhibits seven light tears and some board burns. The front of the jersey exhibits more than a dozen game marks, including multiple stick marks. The back of the jersey exhibits a dozen or so game marks. Both inside elbows and hems are pilling, and the fight strap shows signs of washing. An LOA will accompany.
