Big impressive heavy knit jersey was donned by veteran forward Louie DeBrusk during a brief 9-game stint with the Quebec Citadelles in the 2001-02 season, the team’s third and final campaign in the AHL. DeBrusk played a total of 401 NHL games with Edmonton, Tampa Bay, Phoenix and Chicago during his 12-year pro career. A “SP” company tag is in the neck along with a washing instructions flag tag that indicates size “58”. “SP” also appears on the outer rear hem beside an embroidered AHL patch. Everything is sewn-on including “DeBrusk” across the nameplate. Crossed Canadian and American flag patch sits on the right shoulder above the secondary Citadelles crest, one sewn on each shoulder. Nice game wear displayed on the front team crest, which has streaks of reddish-brown stains through the horns and several black stick/puck marks. Some light marks and stains on the tails and more black marks on the sleeves, particularly the left sleeve, which also displays some reddish-brown stains and a board burn on the elbow. The front collar has a small tear at the front seam which testifies to Louie racking up 44 PIMs in his brief tenure in Quebec.
