Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/3/2024
The old Providence Reds were brought back to life for one game during the 2009-10 AHL season when their heritage was honored with this spectacular retro jersey by the Providence Bruins. This No. 11 “Providence Reds” gamer was born by the P-Bruins’ Drew Larman, who played a total of 26 NHL games, including his final four that season with Boston. Larman had 12 points in 55 games in his only season in Providence. No. “11” is written in marker on the size 58 flag tag that hangs below the Reebok AHL tagging in the back of the neck. A Dunkin’ Donuts sponsor’s patch is sewn on the right breast. There is black mark at the bottom of the intricate Providence Reds crest sewn on the front. A brown round stain sits low on the left sleeve of this gamer that saw duty in one game only on February 8, 2010 against the Lowell Devils. There is another smaller faint stain on the right sleeve cuff and a board burn on the back of the upper right sleeve, and a black mark on the red shoulder yoke.
