Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/3/2024
We have a 2005-06 Syracuse Crunch jersey worn by Dan Fritsche early in his pro career. A second round pick by Columbus in 2003, Fritsche played 19 AHL games with Syracuse that season, and 59 NHL games with the parent Blue Jackets on his way to playing a total of 256 NHL games, including brief stints with the Rangers and the Minnesota Wild. Size 56 flag hangs below the Reebok tagging in the back of the neck and a Reebok patch is sewn below the collar on the back. Reebok and AHL crests are sewn on the right rear hem. Styled with a multi-coloured team crest with embroidered detailing, this gamer features red on white double twill number “49” on the back and both sleeves. “Syracuse” is heat-pressed across the lower front hem. A Blue Jackets patch sits over the left shoulder. The right shoulder has an unrepaired board burn hole below the sewn-on Crunch Foundation patch, and a Hyundai sponsor’s patch is sewn on the right breast. There are unrepaired board burn holes on the hem at the right hip and the sleeves each display a few faint board burns. A team LOA will accompany.
