Chosen 49th overall by the Vancouver Canucks in the second round of the 2002 NHL Draft, Russian defenseman Kirill Koltsov played two AHL seasons with the Manitoba Moose before returning home to finish a lengthy playing career in the KHL in 2018-19. Koltsov’s rookie season Moose game-worn jersey from 2003-04 has the Winnipeg Arena 1955-2004 Building Memories patch sewn on the left breast that honors the venerable rink’s swan song season. The Chevrolet sponsor’s patches are sewn on the right breast with Vancouver Canucks and Moose patches sewn on the shoulders. SP tagging and size 54 flag tag sit in the back of the tie-down neck. SP logo is embroidered in black on the right rear tail with the round AHL patch sewn on to its right. Solid game wear includes black marks all over the front tail, back and both sleeves, which have board burns, including unrepaired burn holes on the back of the left sleeve. Game wear shows in faint red paint transfer and a black mark on the right sleeve and there are a number of reddish-brown spots displayed on the jersey, including on the right sleeve, on the right side of the Moose patch on the right shoulder, between the numbers of the 49 sewn on the right sleeve, on the upper front of the right sleeve, another on the left side of the back and various spots on the upper right front, along with a black mark on the left front.
