Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2024

The Binghamton Senators gave their city’s rich AHL history a nod when they wore this circa 2004-05 Whalers-themed jersey during a pre-game warmup session only. The Whalers logo on the front of this beauty in the AHL team’s previous incarnation as Hartford’s farm team is turned on its side to evoke a “B” as it was back in the day. Senators team crests on the shoulders bely the team’s NHL affiliation in 2004-05 when this specialty jersey was worn by Danny Bois, who racked up 287 PIMs in 72 games in his pro debut. That helps explain the custom-shortened fight strap. Size 56 flag tag sits in the back of the neck with SP tagging above it. M&T Bank sponsor’s patch is sewn on the right breast and an SP logo is embroidered on the left breast, along with another SP logo on the right rear tail with the AHL crest sewn on to its right. A couple of marks on the crest show that Bois always went all out, even during warmup. Strike up Brass Bonanza for this unique tribute jersey.
