A product of the Ontario Hockey League's London Knights who helped them to a Memorial Cup victory in 2005, Dave Bolland would be drafted 32nd overall by the Chicago Blackhawks at the 2004 NHL Entry Draft and go on to play a total of seven (7) seasons with Chicago, winning Stanley Cup's in 2010 and 2013. Also suiting up with the Toronto Maple Leafs and Florida Panthers during his time in the National Hockey League, offered here is this Team Canada jersey that was in rotation as a back-up for Bolland at the 2006 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships which saw Canada win gold over Russia, with Bolland recording five (5) points over six (6) games played during the tournament. Made by Nike, a brand label displaying a size "56" designation is affixed to the inner collar above additional sewn in "IIHF Authentic Collection" and "Made in Canada" tags as well. Sporting a Nike swoosh over the right breast, the front of the jersey has been decorated with a Team Canada crest that displays with embroidered details while the all-important 2006 IIHF World Junior Championship event patch has been added over the left breast. Displaying matching vintage style Team Canada alternate logo crests over both shoulders, the sleeves and verso have been styled with Bolland's number "19" in dual layer tackle twill numerals while "Bolland" is spelt out in single layer white twill letters that have been heat pressed on across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Retaining its fight strap and Nike Team Sports barcode on the interior, the jersey shows no game-wear and is listed on the accompanying Hockey Canada LOA as being a "non-game worn" back up example. Remaining in overall good condition, some staining is seen over the front of the piece including through the front crest.
