Before Dennis Wideman spent 12 years in the NHL with the Blues, Bruins, Panthers, Capitals and Flames, he played one season with the Worcester IceCats in the AHL. During the 2004-05 regular season, Wideman scored an impressive 13 goals and 30 assists in 79 games as a rookie. The size tag indicates it is a size "56" on the inner collar and the back of the collar has an "AHL" patch. Sewn to the right breast is a “Peterson Oil Service” sponsorship patch, and sewn to the back hem is an “SP” and “AHL” patch. Both sleeves exhibit a dozen or more game marks, including two team repairs and four unrepaired cuts in the right shoulder area. The lower right sleeve has three unrepaired cuts and multiple board burns on the entire sleeve. The left shoulder exhibits five board burns, and the lower left sleeve has two small unrepaired cuts. The front of the jersey exhibits a dozen or more game marks, including three stick marks, and the crest is puckered. The back of the jersey exhibits half a dozen game marks, including a stick mark near the number “2”, and a non-game-related stain is above the hem. The back hem exhibits some pilling. The accompanying team COA confirms that this is a “home jersey game worn #25 Dennis Wideman”.
