Shane Endicott played 41 of his 45 NHL games with the Pitttsburgh Penguins in 2005-06, the season after he wore this speclal Christmas-themed AHL gamer with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. The minor league team spread a bit of hockey joy wearing these before Christmas during the 2004-05 season that saw the entire NHL season lost to a lockout. This single-game specialty jersey with candy cane patches on each shoulder was worn by Endicott on December 19, 2004. SP logo is embroidered on the right rear hem and the AHL crest is sewn on the back collar above the nameplate. Size 56 flag tag hangs inside the collar below the SP tagging. Awesome team crest depicts the skating Penguin wearing a Santa Claus cap and the double twill numbers on the back and both sleeves have the look of being snow-capped. There is a reddish-brown mark on the front tail, which also has a couple of faint marks. A really cool single-use specialty gamer!
