Representing Canada at the IIHF World Juniors twice in the late-1990s, Mike Van Ryn was drafted by New Jersey, but made his NHL debut for St Louis in 2000-01. This signed Blues jersey was issued to the London native for the 2002-03 season. A label with “54” sizing is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Koho crests over the bottom hem and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with the classic blue note team crest administered in layered tackle twill, “43” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in matching material, with “Van Ryn” across the affixed nameplate in white twill. Van Ryn has signed the fight strap in black marker. Issued but never worn, there are a few marks on the lower front of the jersey, but these are not from game use. A MeiGray patch numbered “A06418” has been sewn inside the reverse hem, and according to the company’s population report, the jersey is a "Blue 2nd Regular Season GI" specimen.
