A two-time All-Star in the AHL, Rob Schremp spent the majority of his professional career in Europe, while also having short stints with Edmonton, Atlanta and the Islanders. Presented here, we offer this New York Islanders jersey issued to Schremp for use during the 2010-11 campaign. Made by Reebok and having had a lone size “56” tag affixed to the inner collar, the front and reverse necklines of the tie-neck garment have been accented with logo patches for the NHL and Reebok respectively. Decorated over the front with an Islanders team crest that features embroidered details, the sleeves and verso have had Rob’s number “44” sewn to them in dual layer tackle twill numerals while “Schremp” is spelt out in matching style across the affixed matching nameplate. Having been issued to him but never worn before he was claimed off waivers by the Atlanta Thrashers on February 28th, 2011, the jersey remains in beautiful condition with no obtrusive flaws or marks to make note of other than a small spot stain in the team crest over the front and a small mark near the left collarbone. Having had an Islanders team tag serial numbered “209660” affixed inside the rear hem, the jersey is accompanied by a matching Islanders LOA. Of note, the team tag incorrectly lists the jersey as being from 2009-10 (the “2009” is crossed out in black marker) while the LOA incorrectly states that the jersey was game-worn and not just issued.
