Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction September 2023

Having played two seasons in “The City of Firsts” as a member of the Springfield Falcons, Rob Schremp would certainly leave his mark on the franchise by registering 118 points in 147 games played, good enough for 10th all-time in their history. Offered here, is this Falcons jersey worn by Schremp during the 2007-08 season. Made by Reebok and featuring Reebok/CCM/AHL and size “56” labeling affixed to the inner collar, Reebok logo patches have been added over the reverse neck and hemlines while an AHL league patch has been added over the reverse hem as well. A classic style tie-neck garment now missing its lace, the front of the jersey is decorated with a Falcons team crest that features embroidered details while a “Friendly’s” sponsorship patch sits over the right breast and Edmonton Oilers logo patches rest over each shoulder. Having had Schremp’s number “44” sewn to the sleeves and verso in sublimated cloth numerals, a nameplate in the same style with “Schremp” spelt out across is affixed to the upper reverse. Sporting falcons talons over the cuffs of each sleeve in layered tackle twill as well as a MeiGray Group patch that has been added inside the reverse hem, the jersey shows good game-wear through stick marks over the front and both sleeves as well as board burns over the left shoulder, fabric pulls and pills throughout and pilling on the interior. A MeiGray LOA and COR will accompany the piece.
