Two of the first teams to plant roots in non-traditional hockey markets, the Dallas Stars and Anaheim Mighty Ducks have both claimed Stanley Cup victories since both coming into the league beginning with the 1993-94 season. Offered here, is this collection of three team-signed sticks included examples from 1995-96 and 1997-98 for the Dallas Stars and 1993-94 for the Anaheim Mighty Ducks, their inaugural season in the National Hockey League. A mix of Louisville, Christian and KOHO models, all are likely at the very least game-issued pieces of lumber with the only stick that has any identifiers being the 1993-94 Ducks example that is a Bill Houlder game-used offering that still has its original tape over the handle/knob and blade and has “Houlder” stamped to the upper shaft while his number “23” has been hand written in black ink above. All appearing structurally sound and free from cracks or breaks, the 1995-96 Dallas stick has been signed by approx. 20 members of that years squad including Moog, MacLeod, Hatcher, Gilchrist, Ledyard, Lalor, Matvichuk and others while the 1997-98 specimen is signed by approx. 20 as well over a painted white Louisville stick that includes Modano, Carbonneau, Muni, Reid, Verbeek, Sydor, Zubov, Chambers, Lind, and Langenbrunner among others. For the Ducks stick, approx. 19 members of that first year squad have signed the piece including names such as Hebert, Yake, Grissom, Sacco and Williams among others. All signed with black marker ink signatures, all appear legible for the most part with a few a bit lighter from age.
