A chain of sports themed restaurants developed by Planet Hollywood that was around from 1995 to 2007, the company recruited Wayne Gretzky, Joe Montana, Shaquille O'Neal, Ken Griffey Jr., Andre Agassi, and Monica Seles amongst others to invest in the concept, with the restaurants featuring "stadium cuisine" and sales of professional sports merchandise and souvenirs. With locations in places such as New York City, Cancun, Las Vegas, Orlando, Miami, Atlanta, Australia and San Diego, offered here is this jacket from All-Star Cafe's New York City location that was gifted to Brian Skrudland by teammate Wayne Gretzky during their year spent playing together in New York of 1997-98. Featuring a wool body and leather sleeves with additional leather accented throughout, an All Star Cafe label with a size "XL" fly tag are affixed to the interior collar of the quilted interior. A snap style varsity jacket, the Rangers alternate "Lady Liberty" logo is embroidered over the right breast while the cafe's logo is embroidered over the left. Decorated over the reverse with a large All-Star Cafe logo that is embroidered and has chenille letters, the jacket remains in excellent condition and appears to have been seldomly worn though some light wear is present to the leather sleeves from age. Hailing from his personal collection, an LOA signed by Skrudland will accompany the piece.
