The highest scoring defenseman during the playoffs in 2018 when the Washington Capitals hoisted the Stanley Cup, John Carlson has spent his entire career thus far in the US capital, while also representing his nation internationally including at the Winter Olympics. This photo-matched Capitals jersey was worn by the Massachusetts native in 2013-14. A label with “58” sizing is affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with an attractive tri-colour Capitals’ team crest with embroidered detailing, the solid white V-neck has been embellished with red tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers with navy trim, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. The jersey also features customized sleeves, with the circumference of each cuff "taken-in". Sporting a few dark marks from game-use, there is also a small team repair on the lower front. Getty Image #483431947 (April 8, 2014) has been matched to the dark marks on the left sleeve below the numbers. A MeiGray patch numbered “K00019” sits over the inside hem, and according to their population report, the jersey is a "White Set 2" example. An LOA from the Capitals will accompany.
