Scoring a key overtime goal to lift Toronto over the Pittsburgh Penguins in the second round of the NHL playoffs in 1999, Gary Valk is best known for his four seasons with the Leafs in the late-1990s/early-2000s. This Toronto jersey was worn by Valk in the "Hall of Fame Game", played at the Air Canada Centre, on Nov 10, 2001 (the game ended in a 1-1 tie). Size “56” tagging is affixed to the inner collar, while NHL and CCM crests grace the bottom hem and reverse neckline respectively. Styled over the front with the classic style Leafs team crest, the all-important Hall of Fame Game patch is affixed over the right breast. "10" is sewn to the sleeves and verso, with alternate crests to each shoulder. Worn for a single contest, the jersey shows light use with a few marks visible including a faint stick mark over the front. The team patch resides on the inside hem and it denotes the date of the game. An LOA from the Leafs will accompany along with a COR from MeiGray.
