Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction September 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/19/2023
Since returning to the NHL, Winnipeg supporters have proven themselves to be some of the most rabid fans in the league, and this Jets offering will surely evoke some spirited bidding. We have a Winnipeg Jets jersey worn by Mathieu Perreault in 2014-15, and it’s been photo-matched. With size 56 tagging in the collar, the jersey also has embroidered Reebok and NHL patches on the front and back neckline. A Jets store hang tag is also still attached, and it divulges that this garment originally sold for $750.00. Game-wear includes a number of stick marks to the lower front of the garment, along with a few other random dark marks scattered throughout. An LOA from the Jets organization will accompany. As mentioned, this sweater has been photo-matched. Getty Images #458012188 and #458652686 have been matched to the big black marks beneath and to the left of the team crest. We should also note that the Jets team patch remains affixed to the inside hem, and the team’s inventory bar code has been placed above the fight strap that includes handwritten initials. According to the accompanying LOA, this garment was worn between Oct 9 2014 and Jan 11 2015.
