One of the most important franchises in the National Hockey League and a charter member of the league all the way back in 1917, the Toronto Maple Leafs have claimed a total of thirteen (13) Stanley Cups over the course of their 107 year history and have had more Hockey Hall of Fame inductees than any other franchise. Offered here, is this collection of thirty-six (36) Toronto Maple Leafs Parkhurst, O-Pee-Chee and Topps hockey cards dating between 1952-53 and 1979-80. Paced by a group of seven (7) KSA graded offerings, a 1954-55 Parkhurst card of Tim Horton is the oldest of the group, earning a VGE 4 while his 1957-58 and 1960-61 Pakrhurst cards have been deemed worthy of EX 5 and VG 3 marks respectively. For the rest of the graded group, a 1963-64 Parkhurst Billy Harris card is included that displays a NM+ 7.5 assessment while the final three (3) cards are all 1971-72 O-Pee-Chee offerings of Darryl Sittler that have been graded as ENM+ 6.5, ENM 6 and EX 5 with all the holders of each card remaining in excellent condition with just light scratches being exhibited. For the raw cards, the notables include players like George Armstrong (1953-54 and 1960-61 - VG to VG-EX with corner wear and FR to G with creases and corner wear), Eddie Shack (1961-62 and 1966-67 - G to G+ with crease and VG-EX to EX with light bottom border factory crease), Frank Mahovlich (1963-64 and 1966-67 - EX to EX+ with a light corner crease and EX to EX-MT with light discolouration at the top left), Tim Horton (1967-68 and 1969-70 - VG to VG+ with a left border stain and VG to VG-EX with a top left corner ding), Johnny Bower (1964-65 - EX-MT to NM), Bob Baun (1964-65 - EX to EX-MT), Allan Stanley (1964-65 - VG-EX with light corner wear and a light elastic mark), Harry Watson (1952-53 - VG to VG-EX with corner wear) and Darryl Sittler (1971-72 OPC x5 from G to VG up to EX-MT to NM - most with corner wear). For the rest of the group, a bunch of raw singles including Ricky Ley, George Armstrong, Jacques Plante, Ron Ellis, Norm Ullman, and Tiger Williams dating from 1969-70 to 1979-80, all are lower grade offerings from PR to FR up to around the scope of VG. It must be noted that the grading standards followed by KSA may not correspond to those currently employed by PSA, BGS or SGC. The outcome of an attempted cross-over of this piece through any of those services, then, would be uncertain and cannot be guaranteed.
