The winner of the "Hardest Shot" competition with a blast clocked at 102.1 mph at the 51st NHL All-Star Game, Fredrik Modin played for six different NHL clubs throughout his career, and served as alternate captain for Tampa Bay for a number of seasons. From the 2003-04 Stanley Cup championship season, we have a Lightning alternate captain's jersey worn by Modin during the playoffs. A label with “58” sizing is affixed to the collar, with NHL and KOHO crests over the bottom hem and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with a textured Lightning team crest with embroidered detailing, the black V-neck has been accented with “33” sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. Game-wear includes a stick mark to the team crest along with dark marks to the lower front band, with additional marks and burns to the sleeves as well as paint transfer on the upper left sleeve. There is also pilling to the interior. A MeiGray tag numbered “B08156” is sewn inside the reverse hem, and according to the company’s population report, the jersey is a “Black 3rd regular Season / Playoffs w/A" specimen. The team patch resides on the inside hem, with a matching LOA to accompany.
