A long-time fan favourite of the Sabres faithful that played all but eleven (11) of his 900 games played in the National Hockey League with Buffalo, Rob Ray’s Sabres journey would start when the franchise selected him 97th overall at the 1988 NHL Entry Draft. The 1999 King Clancy Memorial Trophy winner, offered here is this Sabres jersey worn by Ray during the 1999-2000 season. Made by Pro Player with brand/Center Ice and size “58” labeling affixed to the inner collar, both the Pro Player and NHL shield logos have been embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front with a Sabres team crest that features both textured and embroidered details, the distinguished alternate captain’s “A” has been added over the left breast while the NHL2000 patch sits over the right breast. Accented over each shoulder with matching alternate logo patches, the sleeves and verso have had Ray’s number “32” sewn to them in tri-layer stacked tackle twill numerals while “Ray” is spelt out in dual layer tackle twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Sporting a customized fight strap on the interior, the jersey exhibits just light game wear via light stick marks over the lower front near both sides and over each sleeve as well.
