Winning consecutive Stanley Cup championships with Detroit in 1997 and 1998, Vyacheslav Kozlov enjoyed an especially lengthy hockey career that spanned well over two decades, with numerous tournaments spent representing Russia. This photo-matched Thrashers jersey was worn by the Voskresensk native in 2003-04, his second season in Georgia. A label with “54" sizing is affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse neckline and bottom hem respectively. Featuring a textured and multi-coloured Thrashers team crest, the V-neck sweater has been embellished with “13” sewn to the sleeves and verso in stylized dual-colour tackle twill, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. The Thrashers “Fifth Season” patch resides over the right breast, and Dan Snyder crest to the front left shoulder. The jersey shows considerable use, with a large hole over the right shoulder resulting from a board burn, additional puck and stick marks to the front, and seven team repairs to the right sleeve. Getty Image #53081807 (Jan 25, 2004) has been matched to the burn hole on the right shoulder, with the dark marks above the team crest also matching. A MeiGray tag numbered “B00526” is sewn inside the reverse hem, and according to the company’s population report, the jersey is a “White 1st Regular Season w/A” specimen. A matching LOA will accompany.
