A veteran of over 1000 National Hockey League games, Gaetan Duchesne would see himself drafted 152nd overall by the Washington Capitals in 1981 and score a total of 433 points in his career in which he suited up for clubs like Washington, Quebec, Minnesota, San Jose and Florida. Offered here, is this North Stars jersey worn by Duchesne during the 1991-92 season. Made by CCM, Maska Ultrafil, size “54” and Steichens labels are affixed to the inner collar while both CCM and NHL shield crests are embroidered into the rear hem along with a North Stars logo. Decorated over the front with a textured North Stars team crest, the NHL’s 75th anniversary patch has been added over the right breast while the North Stars’ 25th anniversary crest resides over the left shoulder. Having had Duchesne’s number “10” sewn to the sleeves and verso in stacked tri-layer tackle twill numerals, “Duchesne” is spelt out in single layer black twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Showcasing a team set tag reading “91-92-1” sewn inside the reverse hem, the jersey exhibits excellent game wear throughout via dark stick marks over the body and both sleeves, red and blue coloured board paint transfers over the left sleeve, board burns over both sleeves, team repairs to both sleeves and the left shoulder and pilling throughout the interior. With heavy salting and some rusting to the fight strap on the interior, the jersey comes accompanied by an LOA.
