Skating to a record of 32-27-11, good enough for 3rd place in the league during the regular season, the 1966-67 Toronto Maple Leafs, despite being the oldest team to ever do so, would knock off both the Chicago Black Hawks and Montreal Canadiens in the Stanley Cup playoffs to claim the franchise’s 13th Stanley Cup, the last of the NHL’s Original Six era. Up for grabs here, and sure to invoke positive memories of Toronto hockey history, is this Toronto Maple Leafs “1967 Stanley Cup Winners” limited-edition team photograph display that features the signatures of twenty-four (24) players and staff from that iconic squad. Matted to full dimensions of 29 ½” x 31” with the black and white team photograph itself measuring out to 16” x 20”, the piece itself has been double matted under navy and light blue coloured mattes. Reading “Toronto Maple Leafs” at the top between two Leafs logos and “Stanley Cup Winners 1966/67” along the bottom, the piece is hand serial numbered “721/967” in black marker at the bottom left-hand corner while a Silver Anniversary (25 years) embossed seal is found at the bottom right-hand corner as well. Featuring the cut signatures of deceased HOFers Punch Imlach (GM and Coach), Harold Ballard (Vice-President), King Clancy (AGM and Coach), Tim Horton and Terry Sawchuk with all appearing strong and legible (the Clancy is lighter than the others) placed along the bottom part of the display, the photo has been signed in silver marker over each players respective image and includes the autographs of HOFers Bower, Keon, Kelly, Mahovlich, Pulford, Armstrong, Stanley and Pronovost as well as Baun, Shack, Pappin, Ellis, Stemkowski, Hillman, Marcetta, Conacher, Erickson, Jeffrey and Walton with all appearing strong and legible once again. A JSA sticker numbered “X03780” has been affixed to the bottom left corner of the piece and is accompanied by a matching JSA LOA.
