The 57th overall pick of the Hartford Whalers at the 1992 NHL Draft, Jan Vopat would go on to play in 126 National Hockey League games over the course of his career while also representing his native Czechoslovakia/Czech Republic on numerous occasions. Presented here, is this Nashville Predators jersey worn by Vopat during the 1999-2000 pre-season campaign. Made by CCM, a lone “Made in Canada” tag is affixed to the inner collar while a size “58” fly tag is affixed to it at the bottom. Having had the logos of CCM and the NHL shield embroidered into the reverse hem, the front of the garment is decorated with a Predators team crest in layered tackle twill with numerous embroidered details as well. Accented with matching alternate logo crests atop of each shoulder, the sleeves and verso have had Vopat’s number “5” sewn to them in matching dual layer tackle twill numerals while “Vopat” is spelt out in single layer white twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Exhibiting game wear via light stick marks over the lower front, board burns are present over both sleeves while the left one shows a large blue coloured paint transfer and a burn that has resulted in a hole through one layer of material at the elbow. Displaying a small light strain near the lower front, a Predators team COA will accompany the piece.
