Made by Starter, the all-mesh construction garment features both Starter/Center Ice Authentic Collection and size tagging affixed to the inner collar with the latter reading "56R-8-21". having had both the Starter and NHL logos embroidered into the reverse hem, the front of the jersey is decorated with an Avalanche team crest that features embroidered and textured details throughout while matching alternate logo crests have been added over both shoulders. Featuring the "CHS" Columbine High School memorial patch over the upper left sleeve to honour the victims of the 1999 shooting that was worn by the team throughout the playoffs, the sleeves and verso have had Klemm's number "24" sewn to them in tri-layer stacked tackle twill numerals while "Klemm" is spelt out in single layer black twill numerals arched across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the back. Having been marked with a "3" in roman numerals with black marker ink over the Starter tag inside the collar to denote the jersey as a third set offering, the piece exhibits light game wear via a small number of stick marks over the inside of the left sleeve, left elbow and lower front while some orange coloured stains are present at the left cuff.
