Playing a total of 279 games in the National Hockey League between Edmonton and the Vancouver Canucks, offered here is this Canucks black "V-Style" jersey worn by MacDonald during the 1981-82 season. A heavyweight mesh construction garment made by Sandow SK, faded out brand and washing instructions labeling is affixed to the inner collar with the jersey itself measuring out to roughly a modern size "46". Having had a "Sandow SK" wordmark logo screened on over the reverse hem, the front, shoulders and sleeves of the jersey have been decorated with heavily screened on orange and yellow stripes with the ones extending down from the shoulders forming the infamous "V" for Vancouver. Also sporting screened on Canucks "Flying Skate" team logos over both sleeves in matching style, the cuffs and verso have had MacDonalds number "14" screened to the them in dual layer yellow-over-orange numerals while "MacDonald" is spelt out in single layer yellow twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Exhibiting good game-wear, stick marks and board burns are present over the front and both sleeves of the garment, more similar marks are found over the lower reverse as well while a pair of team repairs is observed over the lower front. Sporting some cracking/wear to the screened on graphics and logos on the sleeves, front and reverse, good pilling is present on the interior along with a customized snap style fight strap that has been sewn to the end of the original loop style one.
