Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction September 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/19/2023
Large and imposing at 6’4” and north of 220 lbs, Jim Sandlak was drafted 4th overall in 1985 and spent the majority of his career on the west coast with Vancouver. “The House” would also see two seasons of action in Hartford. From his time in British Columbia, we have a Canucks third jersey worn by Sandlak in 1995-96. Center Ice labeling with a size “56” fly tag are affixed to the collar, with NHL and CCM crests over the reverse hem. Featuring the classic Canucks “skate” team crest in use from 1978-79 to and including 1996-97, “25” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with “Sandlak” across the affixed nameplate in matching material. Game wear includes a few marks and burns to the sleeves. An LOA from the Canucks will accompany.
