Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/27/2023
Receiving selection to the NHL All-Star Game for six consecutive seasons during the 1990s, Eric Lindros would earn the Hart Memorial with Philadelphia in 1995, followed by the Lester B. Pearson Award (Ted Lindsay Award) in 1996. From his time in the City of Brotherly Love during the mid-1990s, we have a signed stick used by the superstar, with this specific type of model seeing use from approx. 1994 to 1997. A Bauer Supreme model with “E Lindros” stamped over the shaft, the stick retains its original tape job of white over the middle of the blade and the white bee-hive shaped cloth wrapping over the shaved handle. Exhibiting good game-use, the stick sports marks and abrasions throughout the entirety of the shaft with similar wear also found over the lower shaft, heel and blade as well along with wear to the top edge of the blade and a chip to the underside toe. Additionally, both sides of the blade tape show puck marks. Having been signed over the toe of the blade with a bold silver ink signature that displays without issue, it should be noted that it is personalized to an unknown person.
