The 226th overall pick at the 1990 NHL Entry Draft by the Chicago Blackhawks, Steve Dubinsky would go on to play 375 National Hockey League games split between Chicago, Calgary, Nashville and St. Louis over the course of 10-years in the league. Up for grabs here, is this Calgary Flames third jersey worn by Dubinsky during the 1998-99 season. Made by CCM with size “54”, “Made in Canada” and “NHL Player” tags affixed inside the collar, both the NHL shield and CCM logo have been embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front with the Flames “Blasty” alternate logo and matching primary logo patches over each shoulder, the sleeves and have been accented with Dubinsky’s number “18” in tri-layer stacked tackle twill numerals. Sporting “Dubinsky” spelt out in dual layer white-over-red stacked tackle twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate, the jersey exhibits excellent game-wear via a myriad of stick marks over the front and both sleeves with a couple over the reverse numbers as well while additional wear is observed via board burns to each sleeve, an unrepaired hole over the right forearm, a couple of board paint transfer marks throughout and light pilling on the interior. For the photo-match, the jersey is matched with Getty Image #53123762 (Undated – 1998-99 season) to the stick marks through the team crest and over the left sleeve. A Flames team stamp denoting the jersey as a 1998-1999 offering is found over the inside reverse hem and is accompanied by a Flames LOA signed by Lanny McDonald.
