A product of CSKA Moscow in the former Soviet Union, Pavel Bure was selected 113th overall in 1989 by the Vancouver Canucks and would go on to win the Calder Memorial Trophy as the league's best rookie in 1991-92, registering a total of 60 points in 65 games played. Suiting up for a total of 702 NHL games over the course of his career with Vancouver, Florida and New York, offered here this copy of Bure's 1997-98 Upper Deck Game Dated Moments foil parallel card. An exceptionally rare offering that was originally randomly inserted in packs at the rate of 1:1500, the 60-card set features color player photos of their top moments from the previous year. Skip numbered and displaying foil highlights that distinguishes it from the base set cards that also carry the Game Dated stamp, the card presented here is viewed as being in the condition range of EX-MT or better due wear to the corners and edges over the front as well as the bottom edge on the reverse that is worth mentioning for accuracy while the surfaces remains in what appears to be a flaw free state when viewed with the naked eye.
