This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/27/2023
Spending four seasons with the Montreal Junior Canadiens during the 1960s, Christian Bordeleau saw action with the Habs for 13 games in 1968-69, and 48 games in 1969-70 before additional seasons with four different NHL clubs. This team-signed stick was used by Bordeleau during his stint with the Canadiens in 1969-70. A Victoriaville model with "C Bordeleau" stamped to the upper shaft, the original tape remains over the knob and blade. 21 have signed both sides of the blade in ballpoint including Bordeleau, along with Beliveau, Cournoyer, Richard, Tremblay, Mahovlich, Harper, Myre, Harris, Laperriere, Savard, Mickey, Backstrom, Ferguson and a few others. The signatures display well, with shellac added to the entire shaft. The stick shows use with wear to the taped section of blade along with marks to the lower shaft. "1969-70 Montreal" is also handwritten to the top of the shaft.
