Playing in a total of 30 National Hockey League games over the course of four seasons split between Calgary, Carolina and Vancouver after being drafted 29th overall by Tampa Bay in 1993, Tyler Moss would play a career high twelve (12) contests during the 2000-01 season with the Hurricanes. Up for grabs here, is this Carolina jersey worn by Moss during the 2000-01 season. Made by KOHO, the bright red garment sports both “Goalie Style” and a sewn over size “58” tags affixed to the inner collar with the first of the two mentioned also displaying a handwritten “31” in red ink that has bled over time. Decorated over the front with a Hurricanes team crest that has both textured and embroidered details, matching alternate logo crests reside over each shoulder. The sleeves and verso have been accented with Moss’ number “31” in dual layer white-over-black tackle twill numerals while “Moss” has been spelt out in matching style across the affixed matching nameplate. Showing light game-wear via a handful of puck marks observed over the body and both sleeves, a few fabric snags and other marks are seen throughout as well including a yellow coloured board paint transfer near at the right forearm. A Custom Crafted team stamp denoting the jersey as an “Official Carolina Hurricanes 1st Set 2000-01 Season” offering is found inside the reverse hem and the jersey comes accompanied by a Hurricanes COA. Additionally, the piece is photo-matched with Getty Image #1333350286 (March 2nd, 2001 vs New Jersey) to the puck mark above the right side of the team crest on the front.
