Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2023

Receiving selection to the NHL All-Star Game for six consecutive seasons during the 1990s, Eric Lindros would earn the Hart Memorial with Philadelphia in 1995, followed by the Lester B. Pearson Award (Ted Lindsay Award) in 1996. From his time in the City of Brotherly Love, we have a signed stick used by the 2016 HOF inductee during his rookie season of 1992-93. A Bauer Supreme 3003 model with “Lindros” stamped to the upper shaft, the stick retains its original tape job of white over the shaved handle/knob and blade. Showing relatively light game-use with a few marks/abrasions present and additional marks over both sides of the blade tape, a minor crack is seen about half way up the shaft on the underside. Of note, it also appears as though areas of wear have been coloured over on the shaft with a black marker at some point after inspection. Having been signed over the blade tape by Eric with a bold black marker ink signature, the young phenom has added a personalization above the autograph in a thinner black ink pen along with the year of '93.
