A product of the OMJHL's London Knights that would go on to be drafted 11th overall by the Atlanta Flames at the 1978 NHL Amateur Draft, Brad Marsh would go on to play a total of 1086 games in the National Hockey League with the likes of Atlanta/Calgary, Philadelphia, Toronto, Detroit and Ottawa. Inducted into the London Sports Hall of Fame in 2007, offered here is this Maple Leafs jersey donned by Marsh during the 1988-89 season, his first in Toronto. Made by CCM, a faded Maska Ultrafil label is affixed to the inner collar while the CCM logo is embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front of the jersey with a Maple Leafs team crest that has had "Toronto Maple Leafs" embroidered into it, matching alternate logo crests have been placed atop of both shoulders while the sleeves and verso have been style with Marsh's number "3" in single layer twill numerals. Measuring out to roughly a size "52" and retaining its fight strap on the interior, "Marsh" has been spelt out in single layer blue twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Signed by Brad over the right breast with a large black marker ink signature, the jersey displays excellent game-wear throughout its entirety, including numerous team repairs totaling out 25+ throughout the body and sleeves, light stick marks, board burns and coloured board paint transfers throughout the body and sleeves, discolouration and pilling around both cuffs and pilling on the interior. Also displaying some spot stains throughout, the jersey has been photo-matched with Getty Image #943551540 (February 15th, 1989 vs Hartford) to the team repair seen above the blue waist stripe at Marsh's right side.
