A star in his native Sweden in the SHL who has won three (3) league MVP awards, Joakim Lindstrom would play a total of 150 National Hockey League games over the course of his career after being selected 41st overall in 2002 by the Columbus Blue Jackets. A bronze medalist with Sweden at the 2014 IIHF World Championships, offered here is this Blue Jackets third jersey worn by Lindstrom during the 2006-07 season. Made by Reebok, a single size “56” tag is affixed to the inner collar while a Reebok logo patch has been added over the reverse neckline and the NHL shield has been embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front underneath a tie-neck collar with a Blue Jackets alternate logo team crest that features textured and embroidered details, a primary logo crest has been added over the left shoulder while and additional alternate logo patch resides over the right shoulder. Accented with three (3) white twill stars down each forearm, the sleeves and verso have had Lindstrom’s number “38” sewn to them in dual layer white-over-red tackle twill numerals while “Lindstrom” is spelt out in single layer white twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Displaying a Blue Jackets team stamp over the inner reverse hem that denotes the jersey as a “2006-07 Set 1” specimen, game-wear is exhibited via a stick mark and small unrepaired hole over the right sleeve while light board burns are observed over the left sleeve and right shoulder. A Blue Jackets COA will accompany the piece.
