Playing his junior hockey with the Ontario Hockey League's Peterborough Petes, Jody Hull would go on to play in 831 National Hockey League games during his career after being drafted 18th overall by the Hartford Whalers in 1987. Also donning the uniforms of New York, Ottawa, Florida, Tampa Bay and Philadelphia during his career, offered here is this Flyers jersey worn by Hull during the 1998-99 season, his first in the "City of Brotherly Love". Made by Nike and featuring a brand label affixed to the inner collar that displays a size "54" designation, "Made in Canada", "Center Ice Authentic Collection" and "NHL Player" tags are also found affixed or heat pressed in the same area while the size tag has had Jody's number "8" penned to it by the training staff in black marker ink. Accented over the reverse hem with the embroidered logos of the NHL shield and Nike swoosh, the front of the jersey is decorated with a familiar Flyers team crest in layered tackle twill. Having had Hull's number "8" sewn to the sleeves and verso in dual layer white-over-black tackle twill numerals, "Hull" is spelt out in single layer black twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the back. Exhibiting good game-wear, stick marks are present over the front, reverse and both sleeves with the latter also showing numerous board burns as well. Sporting a pair of team repairs over the right sleeve and an additional one on the left arm covering as well, additional wear is found via a red coloured board paint transfer mark through the top of the "8" on the right sleeve, popped seams at the bottom of the collar and fraying around the elbows on the interior.
