Representing his native Canada at both the World Junior Championships and Spengler Cup at times in his career, Richard Jackman would suit up for a quartet of NHL teams during his time in the league including Dallas, Toronto, Pittsburgh and Anaheim, the club he would hoist the Stanley Cup with in 2007. Offered here, is this jersey worn by Jackman during the 2002-03 season with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Made by KOHO, a lone size “56” flag tag sits affixed to the inner collar while a KOHO logo patch has been added over the reverse neckline. Having been accented over the reverse hem by an embroidered NHL shield logo, the front of the jersey has been decorated with a familiar Maple Leafs team crest that has had “Toronto Maple Leafs” embroidered into it. Sporting matching “TML” alternate logo crests that reside over both shoulders, Jackman’s number “55” has been sewn to the sleeves and verso in tri-layer tackle twill numerals while “Jackman” has been spelt out in single layer white twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Exhibiting good game-wear via board burns, team repairs and unrepaired holes over both sleeves, an additional board burn that has resulted in a small hole is observed behind the right shoulder while a small spot of red board paint transfer is present above the left elbow. Additionally, the jersey has been photo-matched with Getty Image #1458922172 (December 3rd, 2002 vs Tampa Bay) to the loose threads at the bottom of the team crest over the front and to the team repair at the right forearm. Showcasing a MeiGray tag numbered “A03498” that has been sewn inside the reverse hem, according to the company’s population report, the jersey is a “Blue 1st Regular Season” specimen. A matching LOA will accompany.
