Punishing opponents with bone crushing hits along with his fists throughout his entire 549 game NHL career, Wade Belak would spend most of his time in the National Hockey League wearing the blue and white uniform of the Toronto Maple Leafs from 2001 to 2008. Up for grabs here, is this Maple Leafs jersey worn by Belak during the 2002-03 campaign in which he registered a career high of nine (9) points in 55 games played. Made by KOHO and displaying a single size “58” size tag affixed to the inner collar, a KOHO logo patch has been added over the reverse neckline while the NHL shield has been embroidered into the rear hem. Decorated over the front with a familiar Maple Leafs team crest that has had “Toronto Maple Leafs” embroidered into it, matching “TML” alternate logo patches have been added over each shoulder. Accented over both the sleeves and verso with Belak’s number “2” in tri-layer stacked tackle twill numerals, “Belak” is spelt out across the affixed matching nameplate across the top of the reverse in single layer white twill letters. Exhibiting game-wear via stick marks over the lower front and left sleeve, both sleeves also show board burns with two at the left elbow resulting in unrepaired holes. Of note, orange coloured staining is seen on the underside of the right cuff. Displaying a MeiGray tag numbered “A03406” sewn inside the reverse hem, according to the company’s population report the jersey is a “Blue 1st Regular Season” offering. A matching MeiGray LOA will accompany the piece.
