Originally drafted 60th overall in 1988 by the Boston Bruins, Steve Heinze would play a total of 694 games over the course of his National Hockey League career, spending most of his time with Boston and enjoying other stints with Columbus, Buffalo and Los Angeles. From his swan song season in the NHL, offered here is this Kings jersey worn by Heinze during the 2002-03 campaign. Made by CCM and sporting a lone size "56" label affixed to the inner collar, a CCM logo crest has been added over the reverse neckline while the NHL shield has been embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front with a Kings team crest that features embroidered and textured details throughout, matching alternate logo patches have been added over both shoulders. Having have Heinze's number "57" sewn to the sleeves and verso in tri-layer stacked tackle twill numerals, "Heinze" is spelt out in single layer purple twill letters that have been affixed directly to the jersey at the top of the reverse. Featuring "Los Angeles" spelt out in single layer textured silver twill letters over the lower front, the jersey exhibits game-wear via stick marks over the front and both sleeves with the latter also showing board burns. Displaying with small unrepaired cuts near the 7's on both sleeves and staining over the sleeves and front, a MeiGray tag numbered "A04752" is affixed inside the reverse hem with the company's population report listing the jersey as a "White 1st Regular Season" set offering.
