This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/27/2023
The twelfth in the line of Stadium Series games played by National Hockey League teams since the first one took place back in 2014, the 2022 edition of the NHL Stadium Series saw the Tampa Lightning edge out the hometown Nashville Predators by a score of 3-2 in front of 68,619 fans at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. A factor in all three of Tampa Bay’s goals during the game with a goal and two assists, Lighting captain Steven Stamkos was named the game’s first star, with the pants worn by him during the contest proudly offered here. Made by Bauer with a “L + 1” / G + 1”” tag sewn to the interior above an additional sewn on identifier tag reading “Stamkos”, the Lightning logo that was used for the outdoor affair is embroidered into the left leg/thigh. Navy blue in colour, Stamkos’ white skate lace belt runs through the waist of the pants which also show the Bauer and NHL shield logos embroidered into the front and back of the leg respectively. Displaying just light game-use, stick marks are seen over both thighs. Additionally, the pants have been photo-matched with Getty Image #1373043605 (February 26th, 2022 – NHL Stadium Series Tampa Bay vs Nashville) to the intricate fold lines seen above and below the “B” and “A” of the Bauer logo that is embroidered into the right leg.
