A Memorial Cup champion in 2005 with his hometown London Knights, Brandon Prust would go on to an NHL career that saw him suit up in 486 games after being selected 70th overall by the Calgary Flames in 2004. Up for grabs here, is this Calgary Flames jersey worn by Prust during a portion of the 2006-07 season including his NHL debut on November 1st, 2006 vs the Detroit Red Wings. A Reebok made garment, a single size “54” tag is affixed to the inner collar while logo patches of Reebok and the NHL shield adorn the reverse neckline and hem respectively. Decorated over the front with the well-known flaming “C” Flames crest in layered tackle twill, matching “Blasty” alternate logo patches reside over each shoulder. Prust’s number “37” has been sewn to the sleeves and verso in tri-layer tackle twill numerals while “Prust” has been spelt out across the affixed matching nameplate in dual layer red-over-black tackle twill letters. Showing just light game wear, a handful of stick marks are observed over both sleeves. A MeiGray patch numbered “D10511” is sewn inside the reverse hem and according to the population report, the jersey is a “White Set 1” specimen. A matching Flames LOA will accompany. Also included with the jersey is a 16” x 20” photo of Prust from his rookie season that he has signed with a crisp blue marker ink signature that displays without issue. Additionally, Prust has added an inscription reading “1st NHL Game – 11/01/2006” underneath in matching ink that also shows with no flaws. Taped to the back of black, yellow and black velvet mattes, the photo remains in good condition with just some light scratches being observed. An NHL hologram has been added to the bottom right corner.
