Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/27/2023
Drafted 58th overall by the Arizona Coyotes in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, Christian Dvorak was traded by the Coyotes to the Montreal Canadiens in September of 2021 in exchange for a 2022 first-round pick and a 2024 second-round pick. This Canadiens jersey was worn by the Illinois native in 2021-22. “56” sizing appears across the Adidas collar band with "1" sticker for "Set 1", with NHL and Adidas crests gracing the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with the classic Canadiens team crest in tackle twill, “28” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in matching material. Showing great game-use, there are board burns to each sleeve along with a small hole to the left elbow. Team repairs are also present, with large material-backed clumps to each lower sleeve. Getty Image #1357967059 (Dec 7, 2021) has been matched to the burn mark on the blue band on the left sleeve, with the large team repair beneath the band visible. The team patch resides on the inside hem and a hologram is affixed to the reverse "8", with both numbers matching the accompanying COA from the Canadiens.
