Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/27/2023
Playing in the AHL with the Syracuse Crunch before making his NHL debut with Columbus in 2006-07, Marc Methot spent parts of six seasons in Ohio, and was traded to Ottawa in 2012. This Blue Jackets jersey was worn by the Ottawa native in 2006-07. A CCM label with "58" sizing is affixed to the collar, with Reebok and NHL crests over the reverse neckline and bottom hem respectively. Styled with an attractive textured team crest that features embroidered details over the front and alternate logo patches over each shoulder, "48” has been sewn to the sleeves and verso in white-over-red tackle twill, with “Methot” sewn to the nameplate in blue twill. The jersey shows light use with a few small stains visible, some red paint transfer near the left elbow, and a large slit just above the right cuff. Team patches appear on the inside hem and at the top of the fight strap, with an LOA from the Blue Jackets to accompany.
