Drafted by the Red Wings with the 48th overall pick in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft, Zach Nastasiuk has gone on to a professional hockey career that has seen him predominantly in the American Hockey League, where he won a Calder Cup with the Charlotte Checkers in 2019. Offered here, is this Red Wings jersey issued to but never worn by Nastasiuk during the 2016-17 NHL season. Made by Reebok and sporting a single size “56” tag affixed to the inner collar, patches of both the NHL shield and Reebok adorn the front and reverse necklines respectively. Decroated over the front with Detroit’s famed winged wheel team crest that features embroidered details, the Gordie Howe memorial patch has been added over the left breast of the garment as well. Accented over the sleeves and verso with Nastasiuk's number “82” in single layer white twill numbers, “Nastasiuk” is spelt out in matching style arched across the top of the back in letters that have been sewn directly to the jersey. Issued to but never worn, the jersey remains in beautiful condtion with no flaws whatsoever. Featuring a Red Wings team tag that denotes the jersey as a “2016-2017 Authentic Game Jersey 1st Set” specimen that is sewn to the inner right hip, a Red Wings team inventory barcode and a Joe Louis Arena farewell season logo are observed heat pressed above.
