Drafted by Hartford in 1996, Mark McMahon spent his career in the ECHL and IHL. This Carolina Hurricanes jersey was worn by the Ontario native during the 1999-2000 NHL preseason. A CCM label with size “56” fly tag and handwritten "38" sits affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with an attractive multi-coloured Hurricanes team crest with embroidered detailing, the solid red V-neck has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with alternate crests sewn to each shoulder. There is also the NHL 2000 crest and Raleigh Arena inaugural patch over the right breast, with the “3” crest over the left shoulder to honour Steve Chiasson. Worn during the preseason, the jersey shows just light game-wear, with no discernible marks other than some staining to the white band on the reverse. A COA from the Hurricanes will accompany.
