Regarded as the greatest d-man ever to patrol NHL blue lines, Bobby Orr won a staggering eight straight Norris Trophy’s as the league’s best defenseman between 1968 and 1975, and was enshrined in the HOF at just 31 years-of-age. A two-time Stanley Cup champion in 1970 and 1972, offered here is this collection of forty-five (45) O-Pee-Chee hockey cards of HOFer Bobby Orr that date between 1968-69 to 1978-79. Paced by copies of Bobby's 1968-69 OPC offerings in the form of his All-Star and Norris Trophy Winner examples that are seen as EX to EX+ and GOOD respectively, two (2) copies of Orr's 1969-70 card are also present, one in the range of GOOD and creased while the other is around VG to VG-EX with residue on the reverse. Additionally, Bobby's all-star card from the same season joins the regular releases, in the neighbourhood of VG-EX to EX for its effort. For cards from the 1970-71 set, those of his regular release as well as Hart Trophy, James Norris Trophy, Art Ross Trophy and Conn Smyth Trophy cards are included, all falling in the mid-grade range of VG to VG-EX up to VG-EX to EX. Continuing, are cards from 1971-72 (All-Star - #251 - G to VG - corner creases), 1972-73 (#129 - EX - light corner wear), 1973-74 (#30 - VG to VG-EX - corner and border wear), 1974-75 (#100 - VG-EX to EX - off-center) and 1975-76 (#100 - last Bruins card - EX). For the rest of the rest of the group, more copies of cards already mentioned are included as well as numerous other Leaders, Trophy Winners and All-Star offerings that range in condition from PR to FR up to around the neighbourhood of EX.
